On April 28th, the McGregor Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture hosted our monthly Greatest Smalltown Luncheon at The Exchange Event Center. Our monthly luncheon series focuses on professional development topics that benefit the business and agriculture community here in McGregor.
This month, we heard from a local panel of experts about the exciting growth happening in McGregor and Central Texas, and how that growth will affect our local businesses, community, schools, and agricultural community.
Our panel included:
- City Manager for the City of McGregor, Kevin Evans
- Superintendent for McGregor ISD, James Lenamon
- County Extension Agent for Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, Dr. Shane McLellan
- Executive Director for McGregor Economic Development Corporation, Andrew Smith
The mission of the McGregor Chamber is to recruit, retain, promote & nurture local business. This mission is even more critical as we approach this period of rapid growth in our community. We are excited for the challenge of supporting our local business community every step of the way! Join us for our next Greatest Smalltown Luncheon on the 4th Thursday of every month.
