On June 9th, members of the both the McGregor Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture and the Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce attended a joint networking luncheon. Both chambers heard from Chip Wilson, CEO of 360 Solutions, a Waco-based firm that provides business strategy and growth support, leadership training and development, as well as full service marketing services.
Chip spoke to both McGregor and Hewitt business owners and operators on Networking & Your Personal Brand. He touched on the importance of establishing trust, forming connections, nurturing those connections, and developing an understanding and control of the way others perceive you. When it comes to personal brand, your reputation does proceed you.
Following the luncheon, members were able to introduce themselves to other attendees and do some networking themselves! It was a great setting to put to practice some of the advice given from Chip.
Although joint luncheons are not a regularly scheduled event, the McGregor Chamber of Commerce hosts the Greatest Small Town Luncheon the 4th Thursday of every month. This luncheon series is focused on providing relevant professional development related topics to benefit the local business owners and operators in our community. We hope to see you next month!
