Site analysis is a preliminary phase of architectural and urban design processes dedicated to the study of the climatic, geographical, historical, legal, and infrastructural context of a specific site.
McGregor Industrial Park
The mostly rural community provides a variety of industrial, commercial and retail opportunities. The McGregor Industrial Park covers 9,000+ acres of development-ready land and is the site of the former Navy Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant. The park was transferred to the city as the result of congressional action beginning in 1974. The process was completed in 2006, when the City received a Ready for Reuse Determination from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. SpaceX and Ferguson are the anchor tenants in the McGregor Industrial Park.
